The Skin Nerd - Jennifer Rock, no interest whatsoever in that load of tripe, there is an inscription from the person that gave it to me - I've not read it as the day she gave it to me, I had drops in my eyes so she had to read it for me, I put it in a drawer since and hope I never see it again
I got a book of crosswords - lovely cover on it, all the answers at the back, I love the elderly lady that gave that to me but I wouldn't do crosswords from a puzzler book, I prefer the newspapers and magazines for books
I'll just stick to what i like over at the library :(

I would but she put little messages in the pages leading up to the 1st page, I ahd considered that and I even ran a charity fundraiser before Christmas so I'm not being selfish holding onto it, I am hoping to ask her one day if she wouldn't mind, could I give it to one of her young daughters, it would be more suitable for them, a keeping the skin fresh kind of book, I'm a bit long in the tooth for that now :) maybe had i been in my 20's or early 30's it would have been brilliant
I didn't get books, but I got an Amazon voucher that I used for several.
They include 'The Secret Lives of Colour by Kassia St Clair
'How to Make a Home' by the architect Edward Hollis
'Happiness and Other Small Things of Absolute Importance by Haim Shapira, PhD
And on Kindle...
'Everything Under' by Daisey Johnson
'Nourishing Diets: How Paleo, Ancestral and Traditional Peoples Ate' by Sally Fallon Morell
'Why We Sleep' by Mathew Walker
'The Almanac: A Seasonal Guide to 2019' by Lia Leenderz
Some are things I just stumbled on that looked intriguing. I've dipped into the first three.
