Book Title - Silly Names

Some years ago I had a book which contained a lot of ridiculous names through the ages, both British and foreign. I lent it to someone and never got it back. It was a small A5 size hardback (may have been Bantam Press?) The title was comprised of odd names (like rude words). I am wondering if anyone could throw any light onto what book this might be. Any help would be welcome. Thanks
