I vaguely remember a young girl getting her ears dyed green accidently - and it made her be able to hear the plants talking

Its only a short ish childrens book - wondered if anyone had any ideas (tried Google and good reads etc)

I don't think so - although you'd think! :)

Lol. It's the one that kept popping up when I searched too. May have to buy it to read it and see

I just remember it having a bit more cartoony / modern cover
