I grabbed a latte on my way to work and at the same time noticed Buy One Get One Half Price on books so I treated myself to The Beekeeper of Aleppo (Christy Lefteri) and The Catch (Harlan Coben). Has anyone ready these and what did you think?
Escape from Siberia by Teresa Radomska, her second book, this one focusses more on the history of Stalin's oppression of Poland and the experiences of the Sibiriaks, her first book was her family story starting from a village in Poland, via the Labour camps and, the middle East to how they settled in the Uk. Not an easy read.
I'm finding it difficult to read books at the moment. I spent a lot of money on new glasses in the summer and my illness has affected my eyesight. I can only read for a short time before my vision goes blurred. I'm hoping it will settle. I prefer fact to fiction when it comes to books.
