I have a strange paperweight (at least, I think its a paperweight!). It is an effigy of the Temple Bar in London, which has running around the outside words like 'The Temple Bar in London, built XXXX, demolished XXXX. This effigy was struck from the lead on its roof'. It has a glass top, an ornate brass surround, and is about the size of my palm. I am trying to find out its value - any suggestions of places on the net to look would be appreciated.

Look no further..... I think it's really really nice!!!!
like any other unusual object your best bet might be to put it on Ebay and see what interest it generates. If you don't want to sell it and you only want to find how much people are prepared to pay then put a very high reserve on it and then if it reaches the reserve you have the option to let it sell and make a tidy profit or just withdraw it from sale.
not a great leap of imagination but you could look here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/antiques/atg/valuers.shtml or even go on the show itself
