Can anyone help. I'm trying to find out the title of a book for friend. Simon Mayo reviewed this book last week. Apparently it was something to do with the different levels of death. There are the living the dead and the nearly dead or something like that. The author is a woman. That's all I know. You would think it would be on the BBC website, but needless to say it isn't. I'd be grateful if anyone knows what it might be. Thank you.

Could it be -

People Who Don't Know They're Dead: How They Attach Themselves to Unsuspecting Bystanders and What to Do About It

No it's not that book. I can see why you'd think it might be, so thank you for the posting. It does sound very similar that's for sure. But no - this is about the different realms of the dead. Apparently the nearly dead don't pass over to the realms of the truly dead until everyone who knew them when they were alive is dead themselves. It's maddening that the programme reviewed the book but hasn't put up any info about it on the website. Thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.

Have you tried sending an email to him personally and asking for the book title? He's really nice and I'm sure he'd only be too pleased to help.
