has anyone read the island by victoria hislop just coming to the end of it, what did you think of it ?

Fabulous-Read it in a day on holiday recently. I don't know much background but thought the detailing of life on Spinalonga was fascinating. Cried at the end so that is a good sign. Just loved everything about it and the way the story unfolded. Are you from Crete?
