poor mousey?

From my early childhood (around 30yrs ago) I can just about recall a poem about a mouse - I think it was called poor mousey - and I think one of lines was "you slip on a roller skate you left on the stair, and get up crying and put it back there".
Does anyone else know this - and who wrote it?
