Famous or otherwise? If it's otherwise, go to any university art department and they abound. My office supervisor is also an art student. Last friday she went home with a load of bubble-wrap and a toffee tin in her bag - something to do with "Inside Out". Two months ago she turned up with an old chair that she was taking to college to chop up and use for her work.

Bill
Another good one whos work could fall into both catagories is Andy Goldsworthy.
If you mean recycling as regards using everyday objects in their art work then there is a huge list of renowned artists you can look at.

Type "Found Art" into Wikipedia and you will see.....
google "junk Art and see what comes up!!
I am looking at recycled/ reclaimed Arts as well. look at Bill woodrow, Tony cragg, Richard Wentworth. cragg was interested with consumerism, and man made enronments. hope this helps.
Kurt Schwitters who died in 1940s - he made collages and used scraps of everyday rubbish - programs and bus tickets and the llike. he was probably the most famous artists ever to do recycling.

Georges Braque as well - maybe. he also did collages - newspapers etc
