Hi,
I am wanting to take my girlfirend to see either an orchestra or to an opera (nothing too heavy!) next month. If anyone has any recommendations for either of the above please share them with me or point me in the right direction. many thanks

How about 'Kismet' at English National Opera at the Coliseum? Not a real opera, more of a musical, but full of gorgeous semi-operatic melodies by Borodin.

Just a thought, don't think you can lose out!
This is a fantastic venue for obv reasons and theres lots going on in June !

Saw Death In Venice at the Coliseum (ENO) last night which is stunning. Not sure when it runs until though - but obviously sung in English as it's Britten (so not too heavy!) and starring the amazing Ian Bostridge.
