I'm looking to sell some of my own artwork. I paint using acrylics onto canvas, and I also create decoupage collages from coloured paper and fabric. Can anyone recommend somewhere I can put them up for sale? Have any other ABers successfully sold their own artwork?
Thanks :-)

Might be an idea to approach a shop that sells artwork only.
Failing that, why not try a car boot sale first to see what the response is to your work. That at least would give you an idea how well they would sell.
Good Luck anyway.
Check out your local hospital or doc's surgery .I work in broomfield at chelmsford and we have artwork right through our otherwise boring vast corridors! Be warned though bored visitors sometimes vandalise these beautiful things so either ensure they go under glass or a perspex cover or take photo's of them. Local posh restaurant maybe?
Hi

How about ebay? I've bought some great art from there and it might be a good starting point to gage interest etc. You can set minimum costs so you won't lose out and the feedback would help encourage other customers.

I don't think you have anything to loose?

Good luck anyway!

Hi, thanks for your answers guys! I've tried a local shop but he wanted to add 90% for his own profit, which I think would price everything way too high. I'll give ebay a go - I already sell prints on there so maybe the originals will be successful too.
THANKS again!!
