Book with Salvador Dali

Does anyone know the title of a book in which the narrator (I think it might be an autobiography) meets Salvador Dali in a hotel room? They then go and have a meal and Dali completely ignores the narrator... Several of my acquaintances recognise the book, but we can't for the life of us remember what it is! Can anyone help?

This may be a book by Russell Harty, perhaps 'Mr Harty's Grand Tour'. R H did an extended interview with Salvador Dali which was shown on TV and I think the book is linked to some of the TV programmes.
