Anyone know anything about this book? 'tis a Devonshire book and I would dearly love a copy. Thanks

Are you sure that's the correct title? By law, a copy of every book published in this country must be placed in the British Library. Their catalogue has no listing for the title you give.

However, searching a bit deeper shows that a book entitled In a Devonshire Carrier�s Van. Tales told in the Devon dialect. (Reprinted from �The Illustrated Western Weekly News.�), by 'Jan Stewer' (a pseudonym of Albert John Coles), was published in 1912.

Such a book will almost certainly have had a fairly small print run, so it's likely to be rare (and correspondingly expensive). However, if you've got 40 quid to spare, you can buy a copy from Cotswold Internet Books:
