I'm pretty certain I'm a woman and I am toying with the idea of dressing up as something radical, I don't know, maybe Boy George, but I'm not sure, could someone please convince me that it is ok to do this as I really have serious doubts about whether this is ok or not ;)

Helen - be reassured. The desire to dress up as Elvis is perfectly normal. On a Thursday in a month with an 'r' in it - I always don my white rhinestone-studded Elvis garb. It makes me feel liberated and the hips feel smoother...
