A couple of years ago i saw a book that was designed to be read in the toilet, i believe it had samples of popular books and short stories in it.
It had a silver cover, and also images of male and female (the stick men style they use on toilets). I once read a friends copy and i would love to own it myself.
If anyone knows what it is called, or how i can get a copy it would be greatly apprecaited.

This christmas i bought a book called Uncle John's toilet reading book for my uncle john. it sounds a bit like the one you describe. for some reason, which i can't fathom, it was being sold in an outdoor store, possibly milletts i think, and was still on sale last time i looked.
There are many "bathroom reading" books by "Uncle John" and they are all very entertaining. Good to keep in the car, too, for when you are waiting for someone, or to put in the guestroom where someone might be looking for something to read but not want to commit to a novel during their short stay.
I can confirm the one your after is Passing Time in the loo, Great stuff, I seem to have lost my copy :(

Waterstones have a book of toilet reading.

I cant remember what it was called but it had a whitish cover and was in the humour section.

I nearly bought it for my dad last week, he likes his "reading on the throne"

We've got 3 different ones in our toilet, none of which have been described in this post, so theres probably loads. Must be a growing market
