Artist's Name?

I was in a house recently where I saw a lovely black and white sketch of a dog.It was an outline sketch and very simple. I'm pretty sure the artist is famous but can anyone suggest his name? If I see the name,I will recognise it.I just can't think of it and I did look. I think it's a one word name and quite short. Sorry for such a bad set of clues. The picture I saw was a Jack Russell but I've looked before for this artist and found a whole range of different dogs.Thanks if you can help from my obscure information.

No sorry not on that list nor is it Aldin.This is driving me mad.Have been Googling for hours.The sketch is black and white,very simple (a little like a cartoon but more life like) Will keep looking but thanks so much for your replies.

Finally found it after asking on another site.It's DAVIDE (Valerie...presumably a woman not a man although I could be wrong) It's definitely the right artist
