I'm thinking about buying them but i'm not too sure on how good they are on long thick hair. My hair is a bit over half way down my back and is quite thick. Any personal experience or thoughts will be greatly appreciated :)

:O Ratter! You had to google Dave?! I think a new avatar is on the horizon.. gives me an excuse to google him ;) hehe x
Toilet roll holders? Beer? Lol! Eggs are apparently good for making your hair shiny, though I think it's just the white. I remember getting it very wrong when I was younger... and ending up with a head full of, what looked like, scrambled egg!

People still do rise their hair with beer Carakeel, lots of women tell me in the shop. Maybe I should use pepsi tins and go full on Gaga! hah!

<----- Is that better Ratter?? :)
much nicer avatar now, erin-x! :o)
I think ratter will agree!
My hair is also long and thick. I use big velcro rollers on my hair. Wash and blowdry it, then put your rollers in. Give them a good blast with your hairdryer (put the diffuser on if you have one to stop your hair blowing away from the rollers) to heat your hair and rollers up. Leave in for as long as you can to cool your hair down and set the curl....and away you go.x P.S Get your greedy eyes off - Dave Grohl is mine!!!! :o)
slippers as well
