I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

lol jno, is that real or a spoof?
I presume a spoof, but I don't know. I think it came out back in the 60s, I don't know where.

There was a genuine review of Wind in the Willows that said something like "Its contribution to natural history is negligible".
Another good one jno. Well the forecast said a dry night and it's blowing a hoolley and persisting down. Oight oight all.
Black eye, back ache and now I have a cold.

Not a happy Biddy

Oight oight x
Fireworks, not a happy biddy either.
ended up sleeping on the settee with two worried dogs. I wish they could tell me why fireworks are scarier in the bedroom.
Good morning jude, well done, no more getting plastered!!

Thunder storm last night and raining and much cooler today so very nice as it was unbearably sticky.

Anyone watching Mrs Biggs, I am enjoying it.

Morning Neti
Yes I saw the first one ,very good .We had company last night so I'll watch part 2 on catch up.Have to catch up with Dallas too . Mustn't miss JR !
Its a nice cool bright autumn day here. Don't think we'll be doing much as the dogs are so sleepy, which suits me. Might change the garden tubs over later. The roses in tubs are finished and the maples are starting to glow so will look lovely.
Morning each...very chilly, 8C, and was probably lower in the very early hours. I'll have to shake the moths out of my libbies. Just tried the heating out, it's no good putting it on at night and finding there's a problem.

oh tut, it's a bit late to find out now...

Robi, sunny-dave loves my aviator!
well, so do I. There are some excellent avatars on this thread at the moment, though I am sticking with the tried and trusted myself.
Morning all. Guess who had a great night's sleep. Sorry if any of you didn't but it was really good to not be as uncomfortable as I had been. Anyway. I've been exercising like advised cos no way do I want to be as stiff as I am at the mo.
I still cant do my hair very well so I'm off to have it done later. Also I have that many birthdays to this month really have to look for a load of cards for them.
Hope your eye is less painful now Lottie. And hope everyone else is ok. I actually put my heating on this morning for a short time. It's working ok at the moment so keeping my fingers crossed it will be ok for the winter. I have it serviced every year so I'd better get it checked when itwas last done.
I'm getting a bit peckish now so I'm off for some lunch. Have a goodday all my biddyfriends. Laters 'gaters.
it's nice and warm here at the moment. Bob the Builder is mending the fences and repaving some of the terrace, and I've been out pruning some trees, but have come back inside so I can spend the rest of the afternoon sneezing.

Sorry you can't do your hair, Jude, but Robinia knows a man with some equipment... I wonder if he's a Brazilian.
lol Jno. I feel so scruffy. I'm even considering a hair piece :) Well all right then - a wig...:)
My gardener's fantastic at doing a flat top Jude :)...it's almost as if he has an inbuilt spirit level.

I love that aviator neti because it's so you...ok, I know you're not 100 years old... not quite ....

Did you sleep better jno?
I did, but only drug-assisted, thanks Robi. I don't like take sleeping pills but after two half-nights it's necessary for basic bodily functions (like opening the eyes).

Do it, Jude, nobody will ever guess
