Nail Varnish In Fridge

What are the benefits of storing nail varnish in the fridge?

None that I can think of, sorry. Wouldn't it become too hard to apply smoothly?

None - disadvantages, I would have thought. It needs to be at room temperature in order to flow properly.

I've heard that it prolongs the life of varnish. Never tried it myself...its probably a myth.

Knew there are benefits for everything else, which would this come under?

I would it would apply too thickly if it was cold.

It would be hard to avoid streaks.

Thanks everybody - I thought it would be difficult to use cold too, noticed it in an acquaintances fridge but didn't get round to asking why - think I'll stick to my wee box in the cupboard
