Hair Thickeners

I have my hair short and layered but its very fine, I have tried lots of different thickeners but not found one that works that well. Can anyone recommend one that doesn't make hair sticky. Thanks.

I have a similar problem with fine hair. Recently found a new (to me) shampoo by Tresemme , called Healthy Volume. It works reasonably well and I have to wash my hair every 3 days, not every day as with some other products I have tried. Not expensive so you can give it a go without breaking the bank.
