After reading an article in a magazine regarding how damaging formaldehyde can be to your health and that it is in most nail varnishes, does anyone know of a nail varnish base, free of the dreaded chemical that I could buy.

yeah the rimmel on is good. it doubles as a top n base coat n helps strenghten nail n prevent peelin n chips
