All In One Computers
Does anyone have one? If so, how do you find it and what are the pros and cons?

The obvious pros I can think of are convenience, and possibly footprint. All-in-one is a bit of a misnomer, you still have separate peripherals (printer, hard disk, scanner, etc.).
The only con I can think of is repair/replacement if they fail, they're a bit cumbersome to take to a repair shop (I've only had to do it once however).
Sorry for paucity of response, perhaps others will provide further enlightment.
No I dont. This sort of thing has been around for years always the issue with combining it altogether is if something goes wrong the whole lot has to go, unless you can fix them yourself - although even then parts would usually have to be from the company rather than generic.
There is also often an issue with heat and with power sources meaning they are less powerful than the desktop alternative (much like a Laptop).
Also, if like me, you use multiple screens they are not all too keen on it, although some do - but then you have rather defeated the purpose.
Best solutoin(IMHO) is what I have. A large curved monitor with usbc which drives the screen and power to the laptop, the dongle sits in the USBA in the monitor for the keybaord and mouse. Then everyone can come aloong plug the usbc into their laptopn and immediately up and running.
In the downstairs office I have the other alternative that is a dual screen with docks. The dongle for the keyboard/mouse lives in the dock. Again anyone in the house can simply plug in and go.
I see so the opposite of "all in one" - it's a small box that you plug all the peripherals into. I have one I don't mind it, cheap as chips and does the job, I could do with more USB slots in mine but appart from that fine. 2 screens, proper mouse, keyboard. Before that I did the same but with a laptop in a docking station, that went kapput so I got the desktop. It's a small cuboid 6x6x4, does the job and would for most.
11:55 so that's basically a screen with a PC built in. Do not touch with a bargepole, very expensive. You still need a keyboard/mouse really. Yes they are probably a touch screen but they are hopeless really. Ok on a phone but not for real computing. The best way is get a desk top like in 12:01, proper keyboard and mouse and one very wide screen as suggested by YMB.
