can anyone recommend which is the best hair serum? My hair is pretty straigh after straightening so I dont really use any products other than shampoo and conditioner but my hair was a nightmare on holiday due to heat and humidity. Felt I spent ages doing it and then step out of the air conditioned room and it was a mess again. Obviously know it wont be perfect but can anyone recommend something that could help. Obviously my title refers to a particular brand but I dont even know if this particular one is any good. Advice appreciated.

I think this serum is the best i've tried:

better than John Frieda or any others.

If i were you I would also try a leave in conditioner such as one of these:

to weigh your hair down a bit and stop it frizzing so much!
I use the frizz ease at home & it works fine...But when away I suffer with the same prob..its shocking .My solution is to tie it back or up. with a nice clip in .
Have tried just a smidge of wax but I feel greasy then.

silly me decided for once to follow the trend and get a kinda short bob - never had this prob when could tie it up. In general it has been so much easier to keep hair looking good etc - but big downfall when comes to holiday and going to the gym. Thanks for your answers.
i have wavy frizzy hair. i've tried it all. what has been working for me lately is washing it then letting it dry naturaly. the next day flat iron it. if it does tend to frizz rud a dab of lotion in your hands till its almost gone then lightly run your hands over your hair. try this when you don't have to leave the house incase it don't work for you. you don't need a hair disaster before going out. but yes i found it to be better not putting anything in my hair. no more frizz for me. hope this helps!!!!!!!

thanks - do you mean any particular kind of lotion or just any body lotion for example? if so I remember getting a particular expensive 'tan maximizer' coming back from a holiday one time. This I found to be a rubbish moisturiser but used to do exactly what you are saying through my long hair and was great!! not tried with the shorter hair. will do
Redken serum is fantastic. Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops are also great to put on hair after straightening.
i don't know if we have the same products. i'm in the usa. but i have suave for extra dry skin. that does the trick for me. although i hardly have to use it. like i said for me it works better to not use anything.
I use Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. Works wonders on my frizzy hair and is not too heavy.
TIGI - AFTER PARTY - I swear by it - it is the best i have tried - its quite expensive at nearly 14 but it lasts ages and is brilliant!!!
