Please could you advise, I want an alternative to shaving, which lasts longer waxing or epilating? I want something that allows me to even remove short hair. Thanx so much for any advice in advance, xxx

Thank you, never considered laser, but worth looking into,x
if your going to have razor treatment go to the salon and have it done, we bought a home kit and it took ages to do a small patch
In answer to your first question, both waxing and epilating use the same method of hair removal so last about the same time
I agree with Metz. I've had 6 laser treatments on my underarms and bikini line. I've now only get about 30% hair growth so am saving up for some more treatments. It's best to have it done in winter as you can't expose treated areas to the sun.
Thank you all so much for your answers,xx
If you're doing it at home I'd definitely go with epilating. It's a bit painful (take some ibuprofen an hour before to reduce the sting factor) but is way less messy than home waxing (which I've never found removes all the hairs and is very sticky). I do mine while watching tv and it lasts for several weeks (until the hairs grow back - like with waxing). It's very satisfying to see all those hairs being tweezed out! Of course, a salon wax is the cleanest and quickest option, but it's pricey and, therefore for me, not the best solution.
Thanks SRH, I had looked at a few wax remidies and thought they all looked abit messy, I can imagine I would get into a right mess at home, he, he,x
