Haircolouring advice please.
My daughter bleached her hair and it looks ridiculous and all strawish, she wants to dye it brown (can't afford hairdressers) - now I remember when I did this a few years ago mine turned green and I think I used Dark Ash blonde, so am thinking she should just use ordinary dark blonde or light brown and steer away from Ash colours, please am I right? Any advice for home colouring welcomed - thank you .

Dont do it... I done the same thing and used a brown colourant after bleaching my hair...My hair turned green, its was a very costly mistake..I know going to the hairdressers is very expensive buts it worth it in the end. They are proffessionaly trained and they know what their doing..ask around alot of hairdressers do a home service and they dont charge as much..

definately get a thick, intensive hair mask from Boots. I died my hair blonde and it was just dead. Leave it in for as long as it says and it softens the hair gorgeously! I strongly recommend you do this or else her hair will be as good as dead when you put more dye on it. I'm brunnette now and the best way to do it is to go red (like ice.maiden said) and keep darkening until you get the right brown. This stops greeen :P
