Mason Pearson brushes, are they all they're cracked up to be? Lotta money for a hairbrush...

Thirty years, Cetti! ...did you eventually inherit it...!
You don't happen to remember if she ever mentioned anything about static electricity; I have the kind of Scandinavian hair which stands on end after I've worn a tuque but also after brushing it. I've found an excellent antistatic comb but would like a brush to go with it. But perhaps British heads of hair don't misbehave in the first place like the Scandinavian ones do....?
(Hair's good, Pickle, but you know what they say, once it goes you get more head...)

No, DaSwede,no inherited brush, thank goodness. The bristles were still intact but the rubber was disintegrating in quite an alarming fashion, so that was the end of the line for Mason Pearson!
Static electricity - oh yes, we could be related. My hair was very blonde as a child and quite fine, so my formative years were spent with my hair almost standing to attention, due to my mother's insistence that it should be brushed daily. Most unbecoming for a young lady!!
