self tanning moisturiser.......Is this one really better than the cheaper ones like Dove and Johnsons??

hi pasta, yes the St Tropez tanning system is way superior to the Dove and Johnsons products. It gives you a realistic tan, whereas the other 2 make you look like you are jaundiced (my opinion)

But St Tropez is very expensive, I used it a couple of time when they had a sample kit available.

Thanks,petal.....I don't mind spending a bit more if it does the job...the others left me streaky,so on that basis they are a waste of money.

pasta, the St Tropez, goes on as a dark brown colour ( you need gloves to apply it) so at least you can see what and where you are applying it. You sleep with it on, and wash it off next day.

Make sure you exfoliate (especially round knee and ankle areas)

hi pasta, try buying from ebay, it's almost half price than the shops, also fake bake is worth a try, do use gloves though!! and do a pratice tan mid-week so if it goes wrong you can patch up, practice makes perfect!!

Yes it's the best I ever used but the dove is a lot cheaper and is very good for the money x

Agree with Lil - I've just bought the Dove one and it's the best I've used so far. Some seem to stay sticky on your legs but this one was much better. I am quite fair and my legs went a lovely colour for a visit to a spa last week.

does anyone like the garnier tan moisturiser?
i think its great, i use the sunkissed colour one most days after my shower and it looks really good and natural as it builds up each day .
it goes on really easily and absorbs quickly too and doesnt streak. the smell isnt too bad either.
it was half price at about �3.70 ish in boots last week for the large size, not sure if the offer is still on.
its the best ive tried anyway as its so quick and easy to apply without too much fuss and palarva before hand.

Dove is a lotion that develops over time. Isnt St tropez just a colour that washes off

Do you mean St Tropez everyday? If so it works the same way as Dove and Johnsons, by building a gradual tan over days.

I have used all three of these products and in my opinion St Tropez is a better colour than the other two, especially the johnsons one, it is more "brown" while the others have a bit of an orangey tint to the brown! Also the smell is much more subtle than the other two!

i use st tropez all the time but hate having to apply it as it seems to be a mission every time!!
on that note as i am to lazy and hate putting it on i would hate to have to put on the dove or johnsons everyday to build up the color. at least you see the benefits straight away and it lasts ages but be warned its very messy and i put it on before going to bed with long sleeved pajamas as it gets all over the bedsheets. you also don"t have to rub it on perfectly like you would with most tanning creams that the color comes out straight away as it doesn"t really streak. best to get zig to put it on for you lol i get my other half to put it on sometimes when im going through my lazy stage. the outcome is great and makes you look slim and toned... exactly what were looking for pasta. x
