I have had my hair coloured and then highlighted, the highlights are now turning a brassy, orangy colour, does anyone know of a toner i could buy to tone it down a bit

Thanks for any advice

I don't know of a toner - I had that happen a couple of years ago and I went back to the hairdresser and they redid it for me at no cost - this was about a month after I had it done. They actually ended up stripping the pigment from the streaks so that it absorbed and held whatever colour was put on it after that. You paid for a certain look and politely expressing dissatisfaction with your result and a request for an appointment as soon as possible should get it rectified.

thanks for the advice, I'll give it a go
You need to buy a blue rinse shampoo and that tones down the orange tones and brightens out the colour. hope this helps. Aveda Malva shampoo is great.
