Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

part 2 tonight
Ooooh just been and bought up ikea (knives, toilet brushes, cushions and covers, battery operated Christmas lights, gift bags and boxes and a shoe rack to keep the hall tidy) then coffee in Starbucks and more mugs as I collect their Christmas ones, then decorations and sweeties in m and s. Knee has had enough!!! Business letters this afternoon to post tomorrow, I am nearly done with business so woopeee. The spell checker offered me "Kenneth" as an alternative to "knee" I quite like having a knee with a name, what shall I call the other one. Roast pork for tea as its Sis' favourite
Oh woofy what a lovely day, wish I was with you, I love shopping!

Just back from lunch with a bag full of fresh lamb chops and a huge escalope milanese, they give us far too much to eat, and to end we get free bunuelos (little fried doughnut rings in sugar). Lovverly.

Did that George Harrison have music, cos if so that is why I cannot download it (music copyrights etc) shame.

Having a siesta now, up later to watch a film with hija!
Turn up the Kinks Jude, I love 'em!

Well that's enough gardening for today, I had about 45 mins...I think an hour at this time of year saves 2 hours in the spring.

Yes neti, loads of old Beatles footage, it was great!

lol @ Kenneth the knee...how about Edward for t'other...'I'm down on my Kedwords' :o)
Hi Biddies. Spent 2 hours at Master LL's hacking roses, then came back had a bit to eat and have just come back it again. I have really enjoyed it outside today.

Have just found out that Hob Brite doesn't make very good hand cream!! Silly me. I keep some hand cream near a pot with the Hob Brite and the washing up liquid. Perhaps not such a good idea!!

Thanks jno - I am going to enjoy George very shortly.

Seems you have had a good shop Woof. Good on you.

Love to you all.

x
P.S. My feet are to be christened shortly - any suggestions ;o)

Very brave going round Ikea Woofy .I 've only been once ...never again !
They do have nice stuff though .We bought a nice cupboard from there recently ..but on line :)
I'm recording George for during the week when there's nothing much on .
I watched Wallander last night .I'm a bit in love with Rolf Lassgård..he's like a big cuddly bear .
Ken and Deidre Woofy ?
Am now watching George and thoroughly enjoying it. Mr LL has his head up the chimney and is drilling. The chimney is on the other side of the wall of my Glory Hole(!!) and I am expecting the wall to collapse shortly!!

Back to George..................................
My name's Robinia & I've never been to Ikea...

Mr LL's spending a lot of time up the chimbley lately Lottie, is he 'doing a neti' & hiding his shopping? :o)
Nooooo Robi He's rehearsing for Christmas!!
tut, used to send the kids up the chimney in my day, but not now, with all this health and safety, it's PC gone mad, you know.
lol Jude...in that case someone should tell him he's supposed to come down it first...or maybe he's planning a great escape...haha
He is still in there drilling, the cat is fascinated!! He is apparently now making a debris shelf (don't ask). His white beard is now black together with the rest of him. Mind you he does look like father Christmas (did I send you the recent wedding photo - I will do that by email now!!)

Unfortunately though by Christmas the liner will be installed the metal plate will be in place and the new wood burner will be in full working order.

Mr LL refuses to let 'professionals' do anything if he can do it himself (unfortunately) I just want it done and finished and to have my living room back!!

I enjoyed George!!

Very nice Lofty .Where's Mrs Christmas ?
Do you leave him a glass of sherry and a mince pie :)

I watched George earlier so I can watch the second part on Catch up 'cos I watched Garrows Law .
It was very good .Macca is so up himself though .When they played While my Guitar Gently Weeps I was nearly in tears ! Patti Boyd's gone a bit jowly .
Can't stand Macca Shaney. So full of self importance and, in my opinion George has more talent in his little finger than Macca has in his entire body. I have just watched the second part. I too felt tearful when My Sweet Lord was played. Oh what a lovely, lovely man he was.

By the way, I really enjoyed The Jury and wish there were a few more compelling dramas like that.

Night night. Mr LL is not in the chimney now, Probably be up there next weekend. He is not in a good mood - nor would I be if I had been up the chimney most of the day.

Sleep tight

xx
Just watched George it's all so sad. There's a Beatles programme on now - must go to bed Nite Nite All. X
