Face packs

Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Good evening Biddies. Here is the Health Report for the Derby Area.
I have now been diagnosed with a Chest Infection and have been given Antibiotics for a week. The 'bung up me bum foam' which was steroidal has now been changed to an ordinary 'bung it up me bum ointment'. I couldn't get to grips with the instructions so I went to the nurse at the Drs. and she sent it flying round the room like I did, so she didn't understand them either no matter what she tried to say to me! So I got an appointment with the 3rd Dr I've seen this week and he replaced it with the ointment and even he said I'm loathe to have a go if that's what happens. That's my rant for today. Sorry but you did say I could have go any time I felt like it and boy! do I feel like it today.....
I hope you are all ok haven't read every post just yet sorry I have the biggest sink full of pots right from breakfast time so I'm off to do them now.
Have a good evening all and I'll see you tomorrow in a better mood I hope..
Love Jude x

why, thank you, Robinia, I could certainly do with a blue rinse or two. Now do be careful about dropping things on yourself

Yay Neti!!!
Jude if I had a chest infection and heaps, I'd be miserable too. I bet the people who design these wonder drug applicators never have to use them themselves. Leave the pots, have a large hot drink (alcoholic if allowed, depends on the antibiotic) and go to bed ((hugs))
I freecycled a lawnmower, a box of wine glasses and two pairs of wellys today. Sally Ann took two huge bags of clothes and two more full black sacks went in the garage for the rubbish collection.
Did I tell you that dear Shughy (stop reading now if you are eating) came in from the garden yesterday, very upset, with diahorroea coating the whole of one of his back legs? I cleaned him up, then the floor, then changed my clothes and cleaned me up then went to clean up the garden.....he had passed about 2 feet of plastic bag which he must have eaten in the forest...happily no lasting effects but even after my best efforts there is a lingering whiff so tomorrow is grand carpet shampooing day. Shughy never does things by halves bless him.

Good morning All. I'm sorry for being such a 'wet blanket' I feel a bit better today, not coughing so much and coping with the other.
Thanks All for your lovely comments of help and encouragement. I'm no good at feeling crip. I did have a lovely hot drink and went to bed as you suggested Shaney. I'm happy you both had a good day out. I would have loved to have been with you.
Woofy sorry to hear you were having a bad night it must be very difficult for you sometimes. I hope you get a more relaxed one tonight. Thanks to you too for you words of comfort.
Robi I think I've read your were not too well also and anyone of you feeling
'off it' get better soon.
Apart from the funeral the other afternoon I haven't been out this week except the Docs of course, so today I may have a ride out to see my friend who's husband has had the knee operation. Depends how I feel a bit later on.
Oh yes and I love the Boots Neti. I haven't been to M&S yet to try on all the trousers but it is still in my head to do! Next week hopefully.
Have a good day Everybiddy heading for yet another weekend. ( :¬) Yes that's what I've got a Weakend' )
See yer later 'gater(s)
