Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .
yawn... looks foggy today... oh no, hang on, that's the curtains, I'll open them later. well, about six hours of sleep, but at least it was all in one go, so that's a step forward. I knew watching that Polish surrealist epic on DVD last night would help.
Well it must be the monsoon season here, another night of tremendous rain, so loud but no thunder, nice and cosy until a very wet cat yowled to be let in and then curled up on my legs on the bed, still cover looks OK so no harm done. No rain at the moment but everywhere saturated and the cesspit won't be much use today so bathwayer etc won't drain away!, cos our cesspit is a soakaway.
Sorry you're feeling rough Jude...
I had a bad night's sleep too, I woke on the hour every hour. I think the short dark days mess with our body clocks....
I've remembered! All day yesterday I was trying to think of a song by Robin Gibb I'd first heard sung by another artist & hadn't known it was one of his ... well I was just washing a few pots & it suddenly came to me...funny how your brain carries on working on a problem subconsciously. It's a sad song but this is only a short version...
That should have been posted half an hour ago, am now looking distinctly ginger! Hope it dries a better colour or tomorrow I'll have to do like blonde again! (without the ash)
What a lovely song Robi, althoug I could hardly hear it even with the sounds on high. I like the BeeGees. Maurice lived her in Ibiza when he was married to Lulu, our friends lived in the house next door.
Hi All I didn't make Tai chi. Had a lot of blood so went to the Dr. today 10.10 apppointment got out at 11.45. Had my btm examined by my Dr and a Student Dr. then he told me I had a bit of a pile and a split. So in a way I'm pleased it isn't a recurrance of Colitis. So I now have some stuff to bung up the appropriate orifice.
I managed to meet my friend for lunch then took her to the Royal to see her husband. So now I'm having an hour watching the Tennis and then may be drop to sleep fo a bit..
Ooooh sell it quickly Robinia ...Babycham money for Christmas :)
Hi folks
Hope you are all OK .Sorry to hear you still feel unwell Jude .Off to the doctor with you !
I had quite a good sleep last night ,my feathered friend must have found someone to cuddle up to .
Dreary day here weatherwise but I've got a nice ginger pud from Morrisons to warm me up !
hello all. Got my new arch supports today. The good news is that they were 20 quid a pair not 40, the bad news is that I need so much correction that the process is going to be "uncomfortable" for a couple of weeks. She's very good. I had another full 30 minutes consultation and she only charged me for the insoles.
Waiting in now for a Waitrose delivery. It costs nothing and saves me fuel money and humping heavy groceries so its a no brainer.
Waves to Lottie anyway. (I bet her hair's gone ginger too and she won't let anyone see!) Oh jude do you have a fissure? Painful things esp when heaps are involved.
Actually hair is fine, no ginge, and slightly darker blonde than usual so next week a lighter session
Hi Neti your hair sounds great. Is there a piccie of you on FB. The Dr. says it was a bit of a pile and a split. So what this difference is between a split and a fissure I don't know!
oooh Jude, you had to show your btm to the lovely Ade? :o( It sounds uncomfortable whatever they call it, I hope it eases soon. I too have suffered the heaps, I know people laugh at the mention of them but they're not funny really..
Yes shaney I've got another Honey magazine too... Babycham + cherries! :o) I doubt they'll get that price, I'll keep my eye on it.
Hope you'll soon be doing a tap dance woofy ;o). I really should have a go at food shopping online in case I ever have a need to. I can always ask the locals to pick a few bits and bobs up for me but I couldn't expect them to do me a big shop.
<waves to Lottie even though she can't see us>...
<and curtseys to neti>...well redheads are considered special in some circles aren't they? 'dark blonde'? ...yeh right, hehe, gingibiza
Turned out I was wrong before, I wasn't awake at all, so after breakfast I collapsed into bed again and slept another couple of hours. Then I scampered into town to see the Leonardo exhibition, which was wonderful. So many virgins I'm surprised Richard Branson wasn't sponsoring it.
