Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

The top of a slippery slope... in a couple of days it'll be tracking cookies, then she'll be on to identity fraud. Those avatars of hers are ever-changing, for a reason, you know...the mark of a mistress of disguise.
Ha, Robi, in these tough times there may well be money in opening a low-energy red light district, so now that I know where to get the fittings...

yawwwn... another dreadful night's sleep, slept from about 12 to 2, woke up for an hour, watched a DVD, lay awake another hour, took half a sleeping pill, slept till 11. Have been in a dozy daze since then. Gah. Funny thing is, OH has been exactly the same, which doesn't usually happen. There's no apparent reason for it, just insomnia.
Hi again,
Woof, I understand completely how you, which is why I never run an 'open house'. I value my friends highly and love their company but I also love solitude and there are times when I want to be alone - and this can be for days. I also don't like people calling on me unexpectedly, particularly as when it happens I am usually having one of my 'off' days when my dressing gown stays on all day and I want to shut off the outside.
Well, I to have found a magician and the young osteopath I saw today was an angel if ever there was one. I came away feeling wonderful and my right leg isn't dragging. Unfortunately, his visa runs out next week and next week I am booked in with Andrew. I just hope Andrew is as good. Today's osteo hails from Sierra Leonne (sp), a really gentle sole and only 26, but he was amazing.
Have fed son's cat and had a conversation with her and a bit of a cuddle. Am now home and going to have a warmed up curry - a packet of microwave rice and to follow..................................... a steamed ginger pudding made with butter with ginger sauce and icecream - home made!! (not)
May see you later.

Evening each. Believe it or not I like to be on my own sometimes too but it doesn't happen very often. The more people come to see me, especially family, the better. I'm sitting here yawning. I've been busy most of the day and school was great but there's a lot of Telly I want to watch tonight which is unusual for me. Starts at 8 with UC. Then there's something on right up to 11. That's if I can keep my eyes open.
I hope you all feel more up to the mark tomorrow but there's nothing wrong in lolling about, I've done it in the past. Especially when I was working full time I used to do it on my days off. The the day before I went back to work I used to go right through the house cleaning and washing.
See yer later 'gater(s) and if I don't get back on have a good night.

I can't stop laughing at 'low energy red light district'.....by the time the light comes on it's all over...haha...think I'd better stop before we get closed down.
I'm glad he's worked his magic for you Lottie, you're doing well with the medicos for saying you don't like going :o).
Spooky about the ginger pudding, I really fancied one earlier!

(It was deliciously and there is another one in the fridge which is really tempting me)
Robi, because I have felt better for the last week or so than I have for a long time, I have decided to sort out my aches and pains. So I go to the doctors, osteopaths, etc. when I feel well enough to cope with going. I think I have got it wrong - shouldn't I be going when I don't feel well!!!!!??

Good morning. Thought I would sleep well without Mr LL but I didn't. Was quite restless and Meggie developed hiccups, fidgeted and snored.
Sorry to hear about the colitis Jude. Try not to worry. Things always seem worse when you wake up up in the night feeling groggy.
Hope today goes better for you Woofy. You are one strong lady and I admire you.
I am going now to have a cuppa and then make myself a bacon sandwich. Haven't had a bacon sandwich for almost three years now - I am being naughty whilst Mr LL is in the west country. He spent last night at his sister's near Taunton and I expect they had a nice long catchup session.
Am off to feed Hiss cat and shall take Megs. Hiss likes Megs better than she likes me!! Will then take Megs for a walk, albeit the weather is miserable and come home for the day. Elderly neighbour is coming round this afternoon. Don't know why I call him 'elderly' at 81 he looks fitter and healthier than a lot of 30 year olds - slim, smartly dressed, full head of hair and always dashing about.
See you later - post lady has just arrived and I am waiting for a parcel - underwear for Mr LL from M&S (how exciting).
