Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Shaney now I take 100mg of eutirox daily (!)

Was there an Eastenders last night, my schedule shows one, but with Chidren in Need I think it may have been cancelled.
No s'tenders last night neti...

Well thanks for rushing to my rescue, couldn't you hear me hollerin'? Stuck inside a duvet cover I was, what a kerfuffle. I've put a winter duvet on, it gets a bit chilly in the wee small hours now.

I've not heard of those Lottie, don't look at the side effects, it's a sure fire way of having them :o)

Oh yes shaney, I see you've been very busy keeping notes...these must be last weeks...?

I've just breezed back over your recent posts .
I used to take Meloxicam Lofty ,one of various arthritis drugs I've been prescribed .I also had Vioxx ( now removed from the drugs register )and Piroxicam .I'm convinced these started the IBS I now suffer from .

Lol ..Robinia ....I just write it all down on bits of paper :) As if ..but I bet I know someone who does :)
Been out for two hours waiting for son's cat to come home so I can lock her in for the night :o(. Son and GF have gone away for 5 days and I have to go morning and night to see to 'Hiss' the cat. And she doesn't appreciate it, she just glowers at me!! I think I am a very dutiful mother!!!
Oh and I planted some wallflowers before I went, and some more bulbs are going in pots tomorrow. Now going to be a dutiful wife and cook some dinner. See you later.

x
I must get my bulbs in tomorrow...only a tub full this year.
I did loads last year Woof. This year I have just a few to put in pots. I will then stand the pots in gaps later on. Planted some ornamental onions earlier this week. Trouble is now, I can't remember where I have planted what in my hotchpotch of a garden. It is crammed full. Roll on January and snowdrops!!
Night night all
:¬( that tells you how I feel about the Bluudy football. Least said soonest mended!!

I have now developed a cough and achey body so I'm off to bed accompanied by some Potters Cough pastilles that's all I can find. I don't have a medicine cabinet. Just Cod Liver Oil, Paracaetamol and Colitis Pills.

Any way have a good night all you lovely people.See yer tomorrow bright and early ;¬)
Blinking eck it's appeared. Robi the pansy/viola is only about 10CM across very small. I've spent the last half hour sorting how to get it to appear on here and I've just discovered how to confirm I want to change. I'm rubbish at this computer business aren't I. I really am going now....ZZZzzzzzzzz
Good morning all.

Jude hope you are feeling better, keep warm and take care. Your aviator is now the white ram again, no flowers to be seen!
I watched The Queen's Hidden Cousins last night, very sad, but that was the age we lived in I suppose.
Email Robi (new home mayhap)
Jude is looking fine and flowery (more than I can see through the mist in my garden this morning). Neti is still conducting the orchestra. Woofgang and robinia are still poppies. That ends autumn naturewatch this morning.
Naturewatch here in Norfolk is really excited about the 10cm viola that Jude has managed to grow.

It's brrrrrrrrr weather here this morning. Misty and colder than the rest of the UK, but the sun is trying it's best to battle through.

I need to plant those bulbs :o(

Hope you are OK Jude.x
Morning all...s'foggy here, very atmospheric.

Heck Jude, if your violas are 10cm across they're giants!...I'm alerting the RHS toot sweet! :o) They're very pretty, mine are all dark blue with a bit of white in the middle and looking a bit like they've got mildew, so they're probably weak specimens. If they worsen they'll be despatched I'm afraid.
Hope you feel better soon, there's a nasty cough going about apparently, no cold, just the aches and a cough. I bloomin detest coughing!

If it's autumnal nature you want here's (part of) my garden this morning. For the eagle eyed I confess I've tweaked it a bit, the blue spruce is still in a large pot, so I've 'hidden' it. Charlie liked to water anything new & when conifers have dead branches they stay dead so it was better raised up...it could go in the ground now though....♫..there was I, diggin this 'ole....♫

Beautiful garden Robi, makes me nostalgic, but you should really sweep up those leaves my girl.

Why can't I see anyone's real aviator! How can I change back to IE, then I may be on the right track, am fed up with all this.
Lovely Garden Robi. My sort of garden (ours has more fallen leaves though Neti!!)
Not as stunning as your lovely pic Robi, but you inspired me and the pyracantha is beautiful this year.

Now going out there to do bits and bobs. Don't feel very enthusiastic - it's very chilly!!

See you later.

He he, I have exposed my pampas grass to you Robi. I know you hate it, but it can look nice in the right place - honestly ;o)
