Face packs

Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

ok thanks neti, have started wearing real supportive shoes so, as warned, both knees now ache so have taken paracetamol washed down with sherry which beats the heck out of ibuprofen :-)

Woof. I have just order a pair of orthotic slippers from Scholl! I can't wear soft slippers so have been wearing birkenstock sandals, but my feet are now freezing so for the first time in years I have bought some indoor footwear'. I have never suffered from cold feet particularly, so this is a first.

Did some gardening this morning and took dog for long walk into town this afternoon and bought a few bulbs and wallflowers. Called in to see and friend and am now home feeling the effects of lots of fresh air.

Hope your Xray results are fine Nets.

See you tomorrow - it's bloomin' cold in this room - will have to get a laptop!

well I just hope you hitched ya knickers up over your bazooms neti. I love it (not) when they're doing your mammogram, they clamp you in and then say don't move or breathe...haha...as if you could. Just trying to picture the scene if you sneezed....

But at least you have an avatar. Hip Xrays are most uncomfortable .They do pull you about .
I've just watched that programme about the Queens cousins .It was very sad .
I'll have to try that cocktail Woofy .I can't take paracetamol but the sherry sounds good :)

Mornig all, off to see medico. I am still a poppy. We also had fireworks here last, no idea why, but very pretty, I enjoyed them! Not a normal thing for Sta Eulalia!

Morning All.What a morning!! My telly in my bedroom which I switch on for the Radio decided to have a 'not working today mood' It took me about an hour to sort it. I even got the wrong language so had to do it by guesswork. It was Greek. Crazeee!!
Anyway that's that moaned about. Neti you are now a beautiful fairy to me!Robi your avatar is lovely. I'm going to put a photo on of my first viola/pansy flower on later. Which it is I don't know. Enlighten me please.

morning all blooming fireworks finished at 11 last night so midnight before we were settled. have just bought my winter uniform trousers on m and s I like get up and pull on everyday the same clothes to save thinking. I had joggers last winter but they were a bit bulky, these make my legs look good and even my bum don't look huge.

Lovely day here. My new slippers have arrived. They are so feminine and pretty - not!!!! But they feel like bliss and are supportive.

Woofy - re those trousers. I would like to try them, but really don't like side zips. Are the thighs and hips quite wide. I am very cautious that they might be jodpur like on me with my no waist or hips type womanly figure
shape :o(

I too am off to docs today. I feel perfectly well, but didn't when I made the appointment. IBS has settled right down and am not in much pain arthritis wise at the moment. If I cancel the appointment, I might not get another one with my own doc. for a month - so am going anyway to discuss the on/off issues. I feel silly for going now.

Appointment not until 5.10pm! Going to do some jobs around the house today so the weekend is clear for gardening.
