Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Thanks for all your sympathies :o) Still aching but I'll have to get myself together and toddle out...if I can drag myself away from online shopping sites that is, I've been looking at Debenhams again. Everyday I get emails for 40% off here ...an extra 10% off there. They're really fighting to get us to spend.
I see your avatar as this neti

I hardly dare change mine after this last fiasco.

Afternoon all
Poor Neti ..I don't understand all this .You are a jelly for me in the thread and in your profile .Robinia is an autumn scene and a poppy. My back button is still not working on here and I've got Firefox ....very strange .
I didn't have any problems changing my avatar although I was a bit dubious and it was a bit of a faff but it worked eventually .
Dull and chilly here this morning but looks as if it's brightening up now .
Hopefully the students are back at their desks any time soon so will venture into the High St for my errands after applying some lipstick .
Be good ..see you later

......and the gas bottle has just run out on the cooker, luckily there was one nearby on the patio, but they are so heavy, I dragged it to the door on a towel and then lifted into the kitchen. Bet that has set my back back (eh?) a couple of weeks! Off in a couple of hours for hip x-ray.
Gravatar has never been too easy a lot of us had trouble with it in the first place, I think AB is running before it can walk if you ask me.

Just back from xray, what a palaver, take all clothes off except knickers, lay this way and thatway and being poked on him then "do not breathe" I was gasping at the end. Just as I was driving out of our gates some long lost best friends turned up, I was so gutted that i had to go out, wish they had phoned first. Still hopefully we'll get together before they leave.
Oh shaney I would love a babycham with a cherry!
In the 80's we couldn't get Baileys over here so we used to make it, only lasted 3 days cos of the cream but we soon downed it. The recipe went round the island like wildfire, we were all at it. Would love to try the hazelnut one. My mother-in-law used to make a cold icecream with meringue and raspberries and I always had Baileys oured over it, yummy!
