Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

I didn't mean I didn't love your video Woofy you know how much I love Blackbirds. XX
good moaning from a dull a dreary Ibiza, with a new Government. Love it!

I love that song Blackbird, good old Steady, but brings back dark memories of the Charles Manson murders.

Have decided to raid the bank and go and get my hair cut as it's getting shapeless now. I'll have it quite short and then by Xmas it should look OK!

Hope you are all Ok and fit and healthy.
I can still see the White fairy.

Neti, I understand how your sister feels and think I might be doing the same (although I doubt I could be as brave as her). The main thing is that she makes the most of her life and she seems to be doing just that - bless her.

Am shortly off to feed son's cat. Have an osteopath appointment at 3.30 this afternoon. Mr LL has gone away for a couple of days (work!), so after osteopath will be relaxing and eating leftovers and doing just as I please. Have a busy week this week and a day out in Norwich with my lovely friend to look forward to on Thursday. Wonder if she will be wearing that leopard skin coat and the stilletos suede boots!!

Have my hair cut and coloured tomorrow Nets - it's got unruly and wiggly!!!

See you later today.
Not only am I seeing that white fairy on here I am seeing the grey haired old lady on your profile Nets!! You are not a jelly bean to me.
oops, I got a bit carried away on youtube, I love that song and Justin Hayward does a beautiful version too. It's on the Classic Blue album, another one I've got on vinyl & want to replace with a cd.

Morning all...yes I see you back as the white conductor today neti.

Dull and a bit misty here again, I don't like having the gloom for too many days on the trot, it fogs up my brain, I can't think straight this morning.
It's so sad that Robin Gibb's very ill isn't it?
Yes very sad. That means his Mum has lost three sons prematurely - dreadful and poor Barry, the only BeeGee left. I loved the BeeGees. They have been responsible for writing so many wonderful songs for so many people. Poor, poor Robin. He looks so ill in his recent photos. Life can be so unfair.

Third time lucky ?
Morning all
Dull and foggy here .
I doubt your friend will be wearing any type of fur round Norwich Lofty .Or she will roast .It's too heavy for this mild weather and they say 13°C for Thursday.

Neti you are still a poppy for me .Very strange that we all see something different .
That blackbird sings all bloomin' night ! He was tieing one on last night alright His poor little throat must be red raw .
Yes very sad about Robin Gibb .He looks so thin poor chap .
lol @ the blackbird shaney...sorry, it probably drives you mad :o) Robins sing in the night too, especially where there's a streetlight.

I'm not getting much done today :o(
Back from hairdressers, and have coloured it myself, but we do not get good colours here, no Perfect Ten only cheap Belle Colour and that's not too good, and not a whole range for blonde as they are mostly dark here. Still I am done, very short, but I can just run my fingers through it now (alas gone are the days when a young man would run his fingers through my mop!! :o( ) I wanted it short even though I moan for the first week until I can manage it! Now I can wear my woolly hairband (no shaney I never got round to knitting another!!)

Just packing up sister's xmas parcels for the post as they wil cost me a fortune so one by one is the way to go.

My bro in Canada found a 14" laptop in the general rubbish room and it's working so he's using it, he lives in a big block of flats in Kingston, Canada (where apparently my bio father came from) and the flats have a gym and almost everything so they do not have to go out in the winter months, but he walks daily by the lake (whichever one it is there).
I AM STILL A DRATTED POPPY!!!!
No you are not you a white conductor fairy!! Silly, isn't it!!
Hello all I'm off to school now. Feeling much better this morning thanks for your messages. I hadn't heard about Robin Gibb - it is very sad.
Neti You are a lovely little white Angel to me.I really don't know what to suggest.
I have now acquired a new blackbird. I spotted him a few days ago and today when I came home from the paper shop he was sitting on my front Gate. I imagagined he was waiting for his breakfast and he was.
See yer later 'gater(s)
hello all, still in my jammies today, I might just shower and put clean ones on. Its a dull damp day here and i feel a bit bleugh. been struggling to deal with some business and just managed after several attempts to deal with someone who both knew what she was talking about and was prepared to help me.

I am also dealing at the moment (this is going to sound awful) with some lovely kind people who want to come and "see" me when I don't want to be seen.
The friend I met for coffee on friday while Sis dog sat said "anytime you want a coffee give me a shout but if you want to be left alone I will understand"
I have always been one who needed a bit of solitude but its not something that many people seem to understand.
OK moan over
<looks to the skies>...for pity's sake, will someone sort out neti's bloody avatar, she's doin' me 'ead in!!!
:o)

Glad you're feeling better Jude, we can't have you coughing all over the whippersnappers.

Well I've washed my hair, zoomed round with the vac....and that's my lot. I'm tired, my head's like cotton wool, all I fancy to eat is sweet stuff, but Tarquin says he's happy (on facebook) so I'm happy that he is. There must be a woman involved methinks. I don't care how miz I get but don't like it when other people are.

I completely understand you woofy, I'm like that.

I totally understand Woofy .
When all this cropped up with Mr S and he was in hospital first time round my rellies drove to me despair .Don't get me wrong I love them dearly ,but I just wanted to be on my own but they were constantly on the phone ,or calling round when I just wanted to slob around and do things under my own steam .Sounds so ungrateful but we all cope with things differently .

Have another choc Robinia followed by a cstd :) If that fails aglug out of the Gldn Syrup bottle helps ....I do that quite often !
I felt the same when my mum died, I dreaded all the "good meaning" phone calls, I was in a daze and it was awful.

Have used light ash blonde on my hair and now my grey bits are blueish, I look a right tit! Will have to buy a different blonde one tomorrow. Raining again now, my car has a flat tyre and we have to collect hija from the airport at 9pm. I was hoping she'd eloped and got married but no!
<bangs on shaney's pantry door!!>

come out! we know what you're up to in there!

How do you fancy not being able to see properly in a whole host of different colours? hahaha... I've just found these...

ooo Neti, you did an unauthorised hotlink you minx!!
Thank you for understanding. DH had many good friends and in the early days I found myself being the strong one and comforting them which was a bit silly but loads better than the well meaning brigade.
woofy, what is an unauthorised hot link, and where have I done it?
