Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Morning all
Bright and sunny so far .
Just heard on the news that Andrew Lansley is to visit out hospital tomorrow .
There has been a kerfuffle over the quality of care there .Concerns have been raised in the House of Commons .
And all on the day Mr S goes in !
Glad you feel a bit better Robinia .I have some things to post to Oz too Robinia .The postage costs more than the gifts .
Yes off to the doctor with you Neti ...I do have a stick but only use it in desperation .I'm very vain :)
Sorry I forgot to say get better soon Neti. I agree with Shaney go to the Drs. and get sorted.
And Shaney I hope all goes well at the Hospital fir Mr. S.
My niece in New Zealand has her birthday on Friday 4th so we're all posting to the Antipodes aren't we!
Just back form Doctors, yes that was very nice, a young man sitting behind me squeezing my hips, trailing his fingers down my spine and wobbling my legs in the air, thank heavens I had jeans on. Have to have an x-ray on 17th (no apointments earlier!) and he's given me a new pill instead of Ibruprofen. I was sitting in the chair and when I got up to leave it my back (hip) gave an ungodly twinge and I sat down rather quickly, he looked surprised and asked if I was sure that I haven't had a fall! I don't think I have, have I, I would have told you lot.
Does mr s go in tomorrow? Good luck to the pair of you xxx
hello all, we all woke up again at 11.30. I had coffee and cake for breakfast and the boys had a biscuit (second breakfast) and they are back asleep again. Its a bright autumn day here and i intend to do b all today and probably tomorrow.
Thinking of the sick and aching among us and special thoughts for Mr and Mrs S
Tis done, nice amble out in the sun & thankfully not much of a queue in the PO, the postage was as expected :o/. The very pleasant lady behind the glass tried to sell me umpteen other things before I left...I think all that was left for her to say was 'do you want fries with it?' :o)

Well it was almost worth the pain I'm sure Betty, to be frisked by a nice young man. Hope your new pills help...better not mention it to the resident doc tho', he'll be popping over to swap them back to ibuprofens when you're out.
I squealed out loud at jno's comment about stuffing it up each nostril in B&S (earache thread) :o)

Yes shaney, maybe we do need a bit of frost to clear the air now. As Lottie said recently I'm sure it's full of spores & probably some pollens. It is tomorrow for Mr S isn't it? Hope you're not worrying too much but I expect you are. Wishing him (and you) a day that goes well & a speedy recovery.x
oh good morning again woofy ...cake for breakfast? Sounds good. I'm just going to have my elevenses...a bit late but never mind.
I am here and full of shame. I have ordered another coat and feel bad about it.

Be back soon, I am off to confess my sins.

Love to you all

I had looked at it at £120 and thought 'No' Looked at it again at £99 and was still undecided, and today there is a 20% discount on coats for one day only.

Oh dear!!
I feel invisible...sorry.....!
Oh Jude, you are never invisible. I was coming back later to talk to each and every one of you. :o(

We all love you.
Jude, silly girl, you are nor nor ever will be invisible :0)

ANOTHER COAT LOTTIE!!!! now that is getting ridiculous!!
Hello Jude I swear you weren't there when I posted!
You are Not *
That's only four Neti. I sent two back and sold one to my friend, so really it's only three. Two practical and one just because it's lovely and I wanted to indulge myself.

Three coats and two pairs of boots!! That isn't too bad. I keep telling myself it's perfectly acceptably.

Jude - sorry!!! Hugs, hugs, hugs
Please forgive me I'm on a bit of a downer...Can't stop crying at the mo.
Sorry for being so selfish.
See yer later...RX WX LX SX NX
Jude, you are not selfish at all. I am a really bad person with catching up on threads and I know I sometimes miss people out, so it's me that's selfish. You are the least selfish person I know.

So sorry you are on a downer. It's really horrible to feel so low. You can come and cry to us or with us any time without having to apologise. We know each other well now!!

It took me ages to work this out!! The penny has at last dropped!! :o)

It's a bit breezy out there as I trudged back from the shops just now .

Oh good Neti .. a nice young man and Xray will sort you out and get to the the bottom of it .

Yes Mr S goes in tomorrow .We have to be up really early for him to be there for 6.30 am .I really hope they can sort this out for him .I must stay optimistic . Thanks for your thoughts folks .
Lovely cot Lofty .I had an email today to say mine won't be delivered for four weeks .Stamps feet . I got the faux fur one from Cotton Traders in chocolate brown in the end .
