I had a white spot at the side of my nose for ages and it wouldn't go away, I'd always been told that it's ok to squeeze white spots but not red ones (I squeezed a white spot under my eye once and it went so I believe this is true!) so I squeezed the one on the side of my nose too. This has came up as a massive red scab type thing on the side of my nose which looks disgusting! How can I get rid of it for this coming Saturday or do I just need to wait for it to scab over and fall off?! Thanks

wipe off the scab with antiseptic & paint on New skin. Prepare, it stings for a second.

If it is still infected: Cleanse it with something very gentle - eg. Dove soap, Pears, Cetaphil then use a benzoyl peroxide product twice a day on it. Get 2.5% if you can or failing that 5% - don't get PanOxyl - it's too severe. Get Oxy or Quinoderm. Put it on and let it dry. Then put a little moisturiser on top. That stops your surrounding skin drying too much. It bleaches anything that comes in contact so make sure you don't get it on your clothes. Be extremely gentle when doing this. Then DO NOT touch it at all until the next treatment time.

If it is not infected anymore the best thing is Emu oil - available on ebay. But you probably need something more readily available - so I suggest Sudacrem - get it in the supermarket - baby aisle. Don't be put off that it is for nappy rash - it works great at healing, believe me.
Yes Sudocream is brilliant and i would recommend Tea Tree Oil too
I had a white spot on the side of my nose and make up would just roll off it, you couldnt get any type of make up to stay over the spot. I had to have it surgically removed the NHS said it was cosmetic and refused got it done in Harley St.
