How to get rid of dark rings under/around eyes
I have had dark rings/marks around my eyes for as long as I can remember (I'm now in my early 40s) and they've always made me feel self-conscious.
Mine aren't caused by a lack of sleep, so I want to try some sort of cream/application. I have looked on line and found that (unsurprisingly) they are MEGA EXPENSIVE!
I then thought of looking for alternative methods and found one mentioned several times that advised using a mixture of almond oil and honey applied to the area for 10-15 mins for 2-3 weeks. I've been doing this since the start of October and don't feel that there has been much improvement.
With that in mind, has anyone else tried the aforementioned remedy? If so, did it work?
Alternatively, can anyone please recommend any other remedies................other than spending silly money on creams or a facelift! :o)

I know you don't want to spend silly money however Garnier do an undereye roll on with a tint that masks the dark circles and the gel includes caffeine amongst other things which is meant to tighten the skin. You can usually buy it from Boots for around £12 and it was on special at the supermarket a while ago.lasts for ages.
Thanks all.
I already drink 2 x litres of water a day.
I've tried a Garnier product (it was about £8) in Tesco and that didn't really hide the darkness. When I said "silly money", I was talking about £60 for a pot of stuff that would probably only last a fortnight.
And as for putting beauty products in my basket - I'm a "modern man", so I have no hang ups about doing it :o)

If you know anyone who`s going on holiday to the Far East, all the face creams, cleansers and eye creams have skin lighteners in them. I`ve often gone to buy Nivea, L`Oreal etc over there and have stopped because of the whiteners. The locals think pale is beautiful. A whitening eye cream might be just what you`re looking for (normal prices too)

I have some home remedy for dark circles. Hope it will also help you. Try it:-
• Teaspoons – Help reduce swelling in the eyes.
• Ice-milk cotton pads – This tip, said to brighten the whites of your eyes, is very popular in Europe. First, soak cotton pads in a dish of ice-cold milk and squeeze most of the liquid out. Then, place the pads on your eyes. As they warm, repeat this process (for about 20 minutes).
• Aloe vera the wonder remedy for a genre of disease is a good natural remedy.
• Cucumber slices – Cucumber slices aren't just for salads. They can also make a soothing treatment for puffy eyes.
