followed by back ache. I have also been getting pain in my groin (the area between legs and vagina) Also I have felt a heavy feeling, like I felt when I was due to give birth, I have only had this feeling once! and now I have pain in my groin, back and lower leg mainly always to the LEFT. I don't bleed while or after sex, I haven't had pain as such, more like he enters and its like a shock feeling and I'll feel a little twinge in my belly but then it goes away and I don't always have this, I haven't notice any change in vagina discharge. I also for a couple of weeks while taking my anti gastro pills I would cough every morning then it would go away after a while. Also have spouts of nausea, some times really really bad when I first wake. I feel foggy and actually feel as though I will be sick. The strangest thing of all is, I look forward to my period and I feel relieved when I get them I enjoy my periods, I'm happier I feel sexy I have more energy, I sleep better but when I finish, I'm tired, I'm moody, nasty, argumentative, scared and REALLY anxious.

If you need to use more space than the site allows for most questions, simply post the first part of your question as normal and then post the remainder as one or more 'answers' on the same thread.
Now to try to answer your question:
A high ESR does NOT 'point towards cancer'. It simply indicates that there appears to be an abnormal level of inflammation somewhere in your body. It means that further investigation is needed but nothing more than that.
There are lots of possible causes for your symptoms. Many of them, for example, are very similar to those which I've experienced through a spleen injury but you might (for example) have a kidney problem. Given the fact that you've mentioned that you're no stranger to the doctor's surgery, you could even be suffering an adverse reaction to some other form of medication.
Keep hassling your doctors but try to relax and remember that, even if it is "the big C", there are plenty of people (e.g. Kylie Minogue) who have proved that it's a winnable battle.
