He probably meant that you were less likely to have a stroke or heart attack....but there are plenty of other things that could shorten you life.
For me. it is advanced syphilis and gonorrhea...but keep it to yourself eh?

If you have very low blood pressure in later life, you may be prone to having falls, which might result in broken bones. You may get dizzy on getting up from a bed or from a chair. If this happens to you and you fear falling, just wave your arms and legs about before you try to get up.
Apart from all that, rejoice that most of the major risks are lower for you. ( heart attack, stroke, kidney damage, etc) Unless you also have Raynaud's disease. If you do, you stand a slightly higher risk of gangrene and ( just possibly) amputation than the rest of the population - but probably only in later life.
