maybe they haven't "cooked" the test for long enough? do they test for fungal infections with a swab test? green discharge from a wound sounds like a fungal infection to me
green discharge, from where? depends what they are searching for?
Question Author
Its regarding my mum, she went up 2 weeks ago as she was getting an unusual odour down below and back ache, a swab was taken but came back neg, now she has belly and back ache and a greenish discharge, so i think the test was wrong.
Has she been back to the doc since the results came through? It could have been that they were testing for one thing to eliminate that possibility, then need to move on to the next investigation. Tell her to go back, not to waste time thinking about it.
Question Author
Yes i told her this morning she must go back as what ever it is wont clear by itself. x
