Hi daisymaisy, I agree with rowanwitch and Sqad. Use it when you need it. In time the other medications will more than likely take care of your "niggles" and you may end up not needing it at all (but carry it anyway).
Gentle, regular exercise was a great thing for me after diagnosis, gradually building up week by week until I didn't need the spray at all. They now go out of date more or less unused and are discarded.
I found the biggest deal after diagnosis was the reality check that indestructability was for others, not me.
Obviously it affects people differently but do what they tell you and take your medication. It gets easier with time and patience.
