Hi.. All of the women in my family have the dreaded kankles (fatty ankles). Does anyone know how to get rid of them or what exercises work as we've tried everything!!

Barring some kind of dluid-retention issue, which only your doc can diagnose - then it's just your shape, and thank the lord for baggy boots.
Do they reduce after putting your feet up, overnight perhaps? should get them looked at though.

im not sure that its fluid, i think it may just be our shape....or lack of shape! My mum went to the doctors years ago about it and the doc said it was fat. My sister even went to a cosmetic surgeon to see if something could be done, like lipo, but the surgeon said nothing could be done. They don't reduce when my feet are up but they do get worse when im on my feet the whole day. I've been exercising and doing calves toning but no change!

How up do you put your feet? For effective drainage (think hosepipe) it has to be higher than your hips and you should be moving your feet and ankles to assist drainage.
Some of my family suffer with this, they spend a lot of time with their legs elevated.

must admit i rarely elevate my feet and legs...will definately give it a go and let my mum and sister know!
If you're only 23 start exercising hard. Include sprinting up hill and weighted heel raises. With hard work your calves will have no choice but to grow.
