Im not a great lover of fruit and I know I don't eat anywhere near the recommended amount I especially don't like apples is there a vitamin I could be taking to make up for whatever vitamins I could be missing out on by not eating fruit Tia
There are other ways of eating fruit if you don't want fresh fruit.
Do you like tinned fruit in juice?
I often have this with yogurt or I buy frozen fruit, defrost some in a dish and put a jelly on top.
If you have cereal you could put dried fruit on it, Sultanas, raisins, apricots etc.
Failing that I expect perhaps a vitamin C supplement.
I don't like fruit, but cos it's good for you, I force myself (yes force) to eat black grapes every day as I read somewhere that the skin on black grapes is especially good for you, so feel I'm doing my bit to keep myself healthy !
Whilst I sympathise, salad, not being much of a fruitlover myself, you really should consider forcing yourself to eat more fruit. It has less fattening qualities than other foodstuffs, little to no cholesterol, fills you up for less calories, and consists mostly of water and fiber, so good for your digestion and bowels.
So, its more than the sum of its parts, and certainly offers more, from a health perspective, than a vehicle for vitamin consumption :)
Fruit smoothies are lovely, are available in many flavours and would be better than a vitamin tablet. Alternatively vegetable juice would also do the trick.
