Last week I had a sore spot behind my ear, not far from where it's pireced. I thought it was nothing until it got bigger and very painful. I asked OH to look and he said it was a massive yellow head that looked gross lol. So I bathed it and it burst (nice). The next day it had spread and I felt pain on the whole side of my face. This got worse and I felt very tired and unwell too so I went to the walk in centre and saw a nurse who gave me antibiotics. I have taken these for 3 days now and the 'spot' has almost gone but I still keep getting strange mild pain sensations in the ear and around the area in my face. Is this normal?!

I don't have any medical training so feel free to ignore me but it sounds like something I had some years ago which my GP said was an infected Sebaceous cyst.
I agree with Pooka.

Ok thanks.
I'm not going to disagree with the first two knowledgeable posters. But the word, 'mastoiditis' popped into my head.
