Sharp pain in throat...

when I drank some oj.
It was at the back of my throat and was so bad I had to quickly drink some milk to sooth it.
It was like swallowing razor blades! I havent had a sore throat so why would this happen?

I presume that this was just one episode and not a regular occurrence and i also presume that up until this time, you have had no throat problems.

Odd......i can only think that it was a foreign body of some kind in the orange juice.

It was most odd. I'm not being dramatic, but it really, really hurt.
Would a pip do that? I suppose it could,if it scratched the throat.
Yes, definitely the first time it's happened. No throat problems, and it didnt hurt when I swallowed the milk.

Not sure about the foreign body. It was only a small carton. It says "Spain" on the side, so possibly a small Spanish chap.
It also says "Orange juice with bits". Bits of what... razors?!

Sounds stupid, but I've just taken another small sip, and my throat was fine.
