Well, I have never herd the term 90 day virus, but it certainly not unusual to have a 90 day cough following a viral infection, in fact it is the rule rather than the exception that the cough ,says for 90 days in my opinion.
Whooping cough, as I understand it describes the typical " whooping" usually in children which is distressing and doesn.t last for 90 days.
The Government TV advert suggesting any cough lasting more than o3 weeks should be seen by the doctor " seems" a good idea, but I doubt whether the NHS could cope as each case would necessitate, surely, a chest X- Ray
I just wonder how many conditions would be diagnosed in this way?
Not many I suspect
