received a date for the eye test (hope not glaucoma) at end of may
on the same day in the afternoon getting a cortisone injection
another day in May and hopefully getting a brand new hearing aid as this one (whilst a private one it has seen its day) the nhs hearing aid have all been upgraded. When I went for the ear test the consultant told me I was that deaf I was a candidate for cochlear implant. No, my dear not at my age. hearing aid will be suffice. That's all appointments.
So I guess we can't complain really about NHS - they are doing good on a limited budget. I thought the appointments came really fast except for wait of a physio but when I get my own doctor for the cortisone - he may quicken it up more if I need more after the private. We are well off compared to many countries across the world. Let's not complain no more!
