Shingles

For the past couple of weeks have had lots of pain behind my right ear and running over my scalp to above my right eye , I also have a rash over my right eye .It's been diagnosed as Shingles. I have been told to keep the rash clean and dry. However when in the sun or strong winds I always wear 50 plus sun cream as I have had non malignant Solar Keratosis on my forehead in the past. Question is ....can I put sun cream on this rash when I walk along the sea promenade or anywhere else.

Yes, sun cream would have have no adverse effect on the recovery of your shingles........not to worry.
